My career in hospitality began in 1985 as a desk clerk at a Holiday Inn in Sheridan Wyoming. I quickly learned that this business was fast based, not predictable, super fun and provided the opportunity to work with some amazing people; many who have become life long friends. 35 years have gone by so quickly and the experiences are too numerous to mention. I have lived in the east and the west and have changed locations when opportunities came up. I have only worked for three companies my entire career. I have been blessed.Most recently, I relocated to Fort Worth to lead the brand new Hyatt Place TCU. This hotel is located right on campus and boasts a high energy rooftop bar. I am blessed with a fantastic team and supportive owners. I moved to Lexington Kentucky in the summer of 2016 to do yet another Rebrand and renovation for QHR. After 18 months and some major construction where I got to drive a fork lift, bulldozer and knock down a wall we completed the most stunning renovation and complete transformation of a building in my career. Truly Kentucky Bluegrass inspired. I had the pleasure of calling Tampa my home and I loved it. I have rebranded this current property three times and have learned how to build awareness each time. I was involved that great community serving Visit Tampa Bay as chair, as well as other board positions as well as promoting our industry as an Executive Committee member of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. I developed life long friends and more positive experiences than I can write in this short bio. It was a true blessing.
