Designed and implemented real-time executive reports/dashboards. Implemented and maintained project Change meetings to review additions/deletions of projects, which enabled team to keep the “golden application source”.• Frontier Sale – drove to completion on budget and schedule 175 Infrastructure projects. Completed 262 of 264 application go-lives. Reported, tracked, and resolved issues. Completed 1414 server builds of 1414 (100%).• Implemented a standardized hardware/software architecture by which all applications and tiers could be virtualized and managed through standard, automated tool suites. This became known as the SOE, Standard Operating Environment. The projected savings of $232 million on 393 migrated applications and platform savings of $17 million. • Managed builds of Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) and WMware ESX farms that housed Production and Non Production environments consisting of HP Blades, 10GB network and NAS Storage in multiple data centers. The environment hosts 3000 virtual servers and has over 300 Oracle RAC clusters.

Managed staff of 25 IT specialists geographically disbursed over 7 states and 3 time zones, responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of Verizon’s Corporate Systems. • Implemented and upgraded large scale corporate wide ERP applications, such as, PeopleSoft, Workbrain, Exchange, SharePoint, etc. Successful project completion required strong interpersonal, group, and customer-service related skills in order to gain cooperation, build consensus, and make decisions.• Successfully completed large scale server system re-platforms migrating from UNIX to lower cost Intel server platform on time and within budget. Systems are geographically disbursed within data centers throughout the U.S. spanning multiple time zones and used by employees nationwide in a number of decentralized office locations.• Managed VMware environment to implement virtualization in effort to decrease number of physical servers to manage and reduce associated costs. As the senior team lead, managed 15 technical support specialists in the deployment and support of mission critical NT client/server financial applications. Completed implementation plans, tested plans non-production environments, updated/refined implementation plans and coordinated implementation of hardware and software infrastructure to support system distributed region wide computing environment. Deployed mission critical client/server application updates/upgrades via SMS (Systems Management Server) to 600+ users in 48 locations across 7 states to corporate financial users. Created, tested and deployed SMS deployment packages for monthly application updates.
