Taught Gentle Yoga & Yoga for Beginners. Subbed for other classes including Yin Yoga, Gentle & Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and Yoga Level 1-2.

Taught Children’s Yoga and Goat Yoga. Funnest job ever! Got to play with kids and, ah, kids in a fun Yoga environment. For the children’s classes, I worked with all ages, from Mommy and Me all the way to Teens. The Goat Yoga class was 16 and up, and was Vinyasa style yoga with lots of good laughter therapy!

* Wrote Java code as part of a team, creating an educational, multi-media web application using Struts, Hibernate, FlickrAPI, YouTube API, and JSP.* Created JSP code and templates for the OpenCms content management system and integrated it with various back-end systems.* Maintained legacy web applications, including older Java code that collected customer orders and processed credit card transactions, and PHP scripts that managed user databases.* Evaluated new software and new technologies, such as Alfresco CMS, Spring Framework, and Elastic Path e-commerce software.* Interviewed clients to assess project requirements, and created requirements documents based on those conversations.* Created technical specifications, system architecture recommendations, wrote project overviews, created project time lines, and other documentation.* Mentored newer co-workers, addressing technical skills, organizational skills, and writing skills needed for the consulting business.

* Programmed enterprise-level solutions using Java, JSPs, and J2EE using WebSphere.* Worked on internal application suite for a large restaurant chain to manage food safety and operating procedures using handheld devices, Java, JSP, servlets, J2EE, EJBs, JMS, SQL, JDBC, wireless Ethernet, and a third party framework.* Researched and implemented high-availability and failover solutions.* Wrote design and architectural documentation using Rational Rose.* Wrote Java utilities and database scripts to manage XML and XLIFF translation files.* Developed test matrices, wrote and ran test scripts, tracked project status.

Software Developer in IBM's Personal Computing Division. Designed and wrote software tools shipped with millions of IBM PC's and ThinkPads worldwide. Performs research, certification and technical supoort (at the enterprise level) for Linux on ThinkPads.
