Led a team of 5 Disability Management professionals in the effective management and delivery of the Disability Management Program for 5500+ ATCO Canadian employees, including Alcohol & Drug Standard, medical management, treatment and return to work goals, Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability plans, and the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB). Collaborates with HRBPs, Health & Safety, Benefits and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Leadership to Employee Support team for optimization of employee experience in the entirety of the health and wellness cycle. Working collaboratively with Leader Support and Governance to drive health system outcomes.

Responsible for leadership and employee development across 800 Canadian employees including front-line and mid-level leadership. Member of Global Leadership Development Network and Global Diversity & Inclusion Team. Facilitated multi-day development programs for +100 leaders and all leaders’ meetings, which increased the leadership capacity to facilitate organizational change. Liaised and facilitated meetings with technical leaders to determine the years’ technical learning plan and competency framework alignment with corporate, which was presented to senior leadership, agreed upon and implemented. Developed and led Change Management sessions for leaders and employees during organizational transformation to equip employees with strategies for managing change within their team and for themselves in order to maintain engagement in the business. Advised on content and delivery for on-boarding of new employees to ensure clarity of information, and efficiencies while maintaining integrity of content.  Represented Canada as a member of the Global Leadership Development Network, to provide local business unit feedback, ensuring local leadership programs aligned with corporate initiatives. Designed and facilitated Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and developed educational resources for inclusion journey, for +1600 Canadian employees and leaders, which aligned with corporate initiatives, and is expected to increase employee engagement in service of creating a more inclusive culture.

Led the Health Services Team, including 4 internal members and 7 external vendors. Managed occupational health and wellness services for +2000 employees located within Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan. Responsible for managing a $1M budget for programs, medical compliance and vendor contracts for: Canada Substance Abuse Program (800 safety-sensitive employees), Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), Disability Management Program, Occupational Health Physician, First Aid and Medical Surveillance Program. Member of Corporate Services Leadership Team providing review input for health benefits programs, and the Global Integrated Occupational Health Services Leadership Team. Led the review of the Employee & Family Assistance Program vendor contracts, created and submitted the Request For Proposal, and selected the vendor and program, which decreased STD absences and saved $850K within the first year.  Managed compliance for medical surveillance programs of 800+ safety sensitive employees to achieve 100% corporate compliance and ensuring safety of our employees' health. Created and executed a year-long mental health awareness campaign to raise discussion and decrease stigma about mental health in the workplace. This resulted in increased employee awareness of EFAP services and an overall increase in employees’ use of EFAP services.  Founded the Calgary Wellness Network and played an integral role in coordinating networking meetings to review best practices and share knowledge regarding workplace wellness. This positioned the organization as a wellness advocate and top employer and led to increased candidate attraction and employee retention.

Developed and presented to VP of Human Resources, corporate wide wellness program proposal for approximately 6000 staff across Alberta and Ontario, including business case, strategy, implementation phases and measurements. Provided monthly wellness training for groups of 10-20 front-line managers.

Provided wellness consulting services to member hospitals in Ontario.Organized and developed key wellness conferences for hospital members.Partnered with assessment services company to deliver healthy workplace needs assessments to hospital members.Coordinated monthly wellness teleconferences for hospital members.
