In 2021, I graduated with honors from Creighton University's Ed.D Interdisciplinary Leadership program and at graduation was honored to receive the Outstanding Woman Graduate Award. I believe achieving this degree and all my healthcare leadership and clinical experiences is what has built my strengths to lead collaborative teams that can function across multiple service areas, enhance my leadership and development skills, and pursue being a partner in a new business adventure. While healthcare leadership is my expertise, I also have leadership expertise in small business development. All of my experiences in healthcare can be well-utilized in other industries that have complex issues to address in order to perform their services for clients and their workforce, as in:1) System types, for profit and not for profit: ► Specialty facilities – behavioral health and long-term habilitation care of children and adults. ► Therapy company with statewide – inpatient and outpatient sites. ► Health systems – inpatient rehabs, acute/med/surg therapy, outpatient rehabs, and service lines. ► Over site of multidisciplinary staff and departments. ► Multi-site leadership and service coordination for inpatient and outpatient.2) New Hospital Design, & Renovation Healthcare Spaces: ► New facility construction, planning, design with architectural collaboration. ► Establishing evidence-based clinical support for program changes. ► Implementation of electronic medical record. ► Project and department budget oversight.3) Clinical outcomes/programs, patient experience and partner relationships: ► Project Coordination for CMS/QIO statewide partnerships with hospitals and physicians. ► Use of patient experience data – Studer, NRC Health, HCAHPS, etc.. ► Leadership education curriculum development, and leadership facilitator. ► Medical director partnerships for rehab and ortho/neuro service line. ► Experience in TJC, CARF, CMS, DPH, etc.. survey processes.
