About Pamela Hawk

Serenity's Door is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3), human services organization, with a six member Board of Directors. Our organization proposes to offer emergency shelter for female victims and their children affected by domestic violence, residing in Prince Georges County, MD. Our vision is to provide a comfortable home environment, with both private and communal living spaces. Female abuse victims and their children, from a diverse range from all religious, social, ethnical, and economic backgrounds may have a safe-haven from the abuse. The goal at Serenity's Door is to strengthen, and EMPOWER battered women to take control of their own lives.The mission of Serenity’s Door is to provide advocacy, support, and referrals for women and children impacted by domestic violence. Our overriding goal is to EMPOWER women through education, training and advocacy.
