Though not classically trained, I was cooking with my mother by the age of 8, helping to raise most of our own meats/produce and learning to live off the land.Prior to the recent transformation into semi hosted guest lodging from my previous life of restoring our family ranch house and opening the bed and breakfast, I owned and operated a bath works business, a catering operation and a beach lodging property on South Padre Island. In my earliest years after college and marriage, I ran and managed a specialty doctors office along with being a wife and mother to 2 sons.
