My duties included managing and operating the nursing department. I scheduled and supervised 35 staff members. Managed budget needs for my department. Primary duty was to make sure every resident basic needs were met on a daily basis and all medical needs are met also.

I held three positions while employed. I was a MDS coordinator for the long term care part. I held care plan meeting with family and resident's to make sure all their needs were being met. My second position I controlled the spread of infections throughout the facility by tracking and monitoring infections, and educating the staff to help prevent the spread of infections. My third position was managing resident's care after being discharged from therapy services such as P.T., O.T., S.T. to help maintain their current functional abilities.
