About Pamela Pugh

Experience working for a bank in Boston Massachusetts from 1988 to 1991 called the Boston company which I was an Account Representative. Responsible for the data entry of checks and signature cards and data entry and light telephone calls and keeping track of FMA accounts for Shearson Lehman Hutton. Position eliminated in 1991 when the banking industry was going through many changes during the recession of the 1990's. I would like eventually to own my own business as well as to go back into doing Accounting and Bookkeeping work at some point in my life after getting more computer and clerical skills.Specialties: Inbound and outbound call center work as well as data entry,customer service and excellent communication skills with respondants and customers.

It was a very high volume call center with various different types of consumer projects.Company moved to Little Rock Arkansas and laid off 200 people to get cheaper wages in September 2009. The head of MSI told us that all call centers were getting outsourced overseas.In 2007 MSI made almost $70 million dollars. Would like another job working in a call center/Market Research company that is not going to lay its employees off by outsourcing and getting cheaper wages in another country or city. Did the research and found out they got workers in another city for $6.20 an hour and were able to get around the minimum wage requirement because the city they moved to had no minimum wage law.
