Active Board member of the DC SHRM Chapter as Director of Compensation and Benefits Surveys since 2012 working with a team of 14 compensation and benefits volunteer experts to produce the largest local Compensation and Benefits surveys in the DC Metropolitan area.

Working with CEO and Senior Management team, design and manage strategic compensation and benefits programs that will attract, retain, and motivate top professional employees. This also includes budget development, design, implementation, and administration of total reward programs. •Develop and design Compensation programs that includes the job evaluation system, salary market analysis, salary ranges, compensation surveys, annual and off-cycle salary and promotion increases, and design and management of the performance evaluation system. •Design and administrator Executive incentive and bonus plans. Work with Senior Sales and Marketing officials in the design and management of sales and marketing incentive plans. •Collaborate with the senior management on the annual compensation and benefits annual budget and audits. Prepare and present market position and competitive status of the compensation and benefits programs to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. •Manage a full complement of Benefits programs that includes health, life and disability insurance programs, 401k retirement plan, and several voluntary benefit offerings. Act as an employee advocate on the 401k Retirement committee. Manage a robust Wellness Program. •Work with IT on sourcing and implementing information systems designed to meet the analytical needs of Human Resources and Payroll processing required to provide quality service to management and staff including online self-service capabilities. •Fully competent in current Labor Laws, COBRA, and HIPAA regulations and submit the EEO and OSHA reports. Work with labor attorneys, compensation consultants, benefits brokers and carriers in the negotiation, development and implementation of plans and plan design changes. •Manage and design content for the NAHB employee Intranet, an interactive employee newsletter. Prepare and maintain the Employee Handbook, Compensation Policy Guide, Plan Documents and Summary Plan Descriptions.
