Pam Ward joined People’s United Bank in March of 2007, bringing a wide array of expertise from her then 21 year banking career. Ward has specialized in client administration throughout the last 37 years, and in her current role she is responsible for leading the Maine and NH administrative team of wealth management specialists for People’s United Bank. Prior to this she served in a leadership role as the team leader for the Portland wealth management and investment specialist team. Ward serves as a resource for the wealth management group for operational, training and compliance matters and supports additional components of the Wealth Management Division for its continued growth. Before joining People’s United Bank, Ward served as the charitable giving specialist, private bank operations manager and private bank executive assistant with KeyBank. Pam began her banking career at the former Casco Northern Bank as a clerk in the bookkeeping department and quickly stepped into the role of commercial loan specialist. Over her 37 year career in Portland, Ward has been involved with the United Way of Greater Portland serving as employee campaign manager for Peoples United Bank, and as a member of the People’s United Bank corporate United Way committee. During her tenure at KeyBank, she also filled the role of employee campaign manager for both the United Way of Greater Portland and the American Heart Association. Ward attended college at Fisher College in Boston, Massachusetts. She is active in her church where she serves as the music director and praise team leader.
