• Successful transition of accounting department from Austin, TX to Caliber’s corporate office in Irvine, CA, including design and implementation of month-end closing process to provide the data needed by corporate before our transition to their management system; and integration of Southwest company financial data to Caliber Collision accounting department. • Member senior management team responsible for corporate planning and budgeting, cash management, financial statement preparation. Issues addressed included Y2K compatibility, management reports, and integration with accounting software. • Managed corporate 401K Plan and Profit Sharing Trust, including trust accounting and recordkeeping for the participants. Investments maintained through a brokerage firm. Transitioned recordkeeping to third party plan administrator.• Human resources management, including organization of employee records, employment procedures, forms, job descriptions, design of incentive pay plans, and salary reviews. • Directed annual review of insurance coverage for property, workman’s compensation, health, and disability insurance coverages.• Preparation of corporate tax returns, including payroll taxes, franchise taxes, corporate income tax (Subchapter C and Subchapter S), and individual income taxes.

Industries included construction, real estate development, attorneys, small retail outlets, restaurants, and consultants. Prepared financial statements, tax returns, tax planning, budgeting, business planning. Managed a team of professionals in servicing clients.

Preparation of financial statements for multiple locations. Maintained accounts payable and payroll for the company. Transitioned the single entry accounting system to a double entry system under the supervision of a CPA. Prepared all quarterly employment tax returns, and corporate tax returns.
