I am a motivated, productive and resourceful administrative professional dedicated to supporting organizations striving to make the world a better place. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and to learn from some remarkable people. As a Research Administrator at Collaborative Research, I worked for Dr. Helen Donis-Keller when she was leading research on the construction of the first genetic linkage map of the human genome. When Helen left to become a Professor at Washington University, I took a position at Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. For many years I worked for Dr. Peter Kim as his Administrative Lab Manager and I successfully handled the administrative, financial and grants management responsibilities involved in running his thriving research lab. When Peter became President of Merck Research Laboratories, I took a position in Facilities Management. As an Administrative Manager, I made several positive contributions including launching a new work order system to increase productivity and user satisfaction. Working in Facilities with a talented and diverse group allowed me to develop skills in customer service, budget management and various database software packages. After many fulfilling years supporting the amazing research at Whitehead, I have decided to explore new opportunities.
