Working 24/7 as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in the ER, I experience the impact of delivering high quality care first-hand. At the hospital administrative level, a transformative approach to management and streamline operational processes plays an integral role in the delivery of emergency patient care. With my direct patient contact and contract relationship with ER doctors, nurses, and patients, I am able to identify problem areas and develop solutions to tackle these problems. I seek to build teams to help patients, providers, and organizations thrive, and offer leadership insight that is generated with a great passion. With my MBA concentration in healthcare administration and background in direct patient care and hospital administration, I bring a unique blend to the table. I am the first person to offer a warm blanket to a patient or sit down beside them and offer words of comfort in a stressful ER environment. I see the look on a patient’s face when they are swiftly taken under the wing of a provider that can offer a kind, systematic approach to diagnoses— despite the volume of patients sitting in the waiting room. I believe that an additional offering to maintain quality care is to step inside the hospital board room.
