In the Summer of 2010, I was offered the extraordinary opportunity to move to Anchorage and participate in a nonprofit, shared services Pre-Development Program for The Foraker Group. As a Project Manager, I work with nonprofits, municipalities and tribal organizations all over the state of Alaska. In this capacity, I will be providing guidance and technical assistance to determine the feasibility of their capital projects and develop the documentation needed for funding applications.A business owner for over 25 years, I have had extensive experience as a consultant for commercial interior design & space planning. Prior to starting my own business, I worked as an interior design director at two Seattle-based architectural firms. Currently, my work focuses on independent consulting to architectural firms, business owners, government agencies and home owners.One of my most compelling long term goals was to give back to my community. In joining The Foraker Group, I am realizing a means of making a difference in both the nonprofit sector and in the communities they serve. Moving to Alaska has been challenging and invigorating. It's a State of breathtaking beauty, populated with amazing people, cultures and heritage.Specialties: Specializing in organizational space programming and planning for libraries, healthcare facilities, offices and housing, as well as furniture and finishes surveys and assessments.
