MoonRidge Foods, LLC, Pleasant Hope, MO 2016-PresentDirector, Human ResourcesMoonridge Foods (MFR) was a state of the art pork processing facility, employing more than 275 team members. MRF first started production in September 2016. Unfortunately MRF has recently filed bankruptcy. I am working with the court appointed receiver to put together due diligence documentation for potential buyers as well as close out programs, systems and processes for the current ownership. While at MRF I managed and developed all HR Functions, recruitment, onboarding, programmed all HRIS functionality including Applicant tracking/HR/Payroll and developed reporting for tracking metrics and management of data, training, retention, wellness, benefits, OSHA, Workers Compensation, performance management, leave programs including FMLA, Missouri Works Grant Program, paid time off, employee relations and employee development. In addition I managed 2 direct reports, Plant Nurse and Safety Manager and was instrumental in developing their programs, processes and compliance responsibilities.

Responsible to plan and direct all aspects of HRIS for current clients and prospective clients. Develop, implement and maintain HRIS system to meet clients’ needs and objectives, through research, evaluation and understanding of their desired HR goals and outcomes. Assist client through consulting on operational human resources related issues, including development and communication of policies, training, budgeting, HR reporting, benefits administration and compliance.

As Chief Operating Officer I am responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the company. While assisting the CEO and Executive Management Team in the aggressive and successful growth of the company. Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, and guided by the objectives of company, as COO I am responsible to provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

As unit Chief I was responsible for the design, implementation, communication and administration of Department benefits, compensation and HRIS programs for all employees across the state. Managed a team comprised of two Benefit Specialists, Benefit Coordinator, Compensation Analyst and HRIS Manager. Worked closely with the Employment Manager and Employee Relations Manager to develop processes to enhance efficiencies and synergies for all HR functions/processes.

Drove design, implementation, communication, and administration of company benefits, compensation, and HRIS programs for 30,000 employees in 475 Company Owned Bakery Cafes, 22 Fresh Dough Facilities and 3 Support Centers. Closely managed the efforts of 4 senior managers with down-line authority for 10 support staff. Ensured the cost-effective and strategic alignment of total rewards initiatives and programs met the strategic priorities of the business as well as the objectives of the Human Resources Department.

Orchestrated design, implementation, communication, and administration of the company benefits as well as compensation, payroll and HRIS programs for 22 retail stores, 6 restaurants, 2 resorts, and 10 boat manufacturing facilities. Guided the efforts of 5 managers with down-line authority for 12 additional support staff. Personally directed the planning and development of all related budgets.
