About Pamela Leonard

I joined Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) as the Community Outreach Specialist working with the local governments that took a bold step in achieving major GHG reductions by forming and launching a new Community Choice Energy agency. After successfully enrolling nearly 97% of all electricity customers, I now serve as the Communications Manager for SVCE. I work with an incredibly talented team that provides clean, carbon-free power to a majority of Santa Clara County communities. Prior to SVCE, I served as the communications specialist for Prospect Silicon Valley, an urbantech innovation hub focused on smart transportation for mobility and cleantech solutions for the built environment. I helped promote ProspectSV programs, events and news to partners, clients and supporters.I served as an Account Executive with Westbound Communications bringing my experience to the Port of Long Beach team conducting community and digital outreach, special events and marketing for the $1.2 billion Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project. I served as Director of Communications and Marketing for Orange County Coastkeeper, a clean water nonprofit organization, that promotes sustainable water resources and is a stakeholder in regional water supply issues. I interned for the Public and Government Affairs department at Mesa Water District and for Conservation Strategy Group, a Sacramento-based lobbying and consulting firm specializing in environmental and natural resources strategy and advocacy.
