Pamela Maggied's law practice has been devoted to the bankruptcy and insolvency areas since 1980. A solo practitioner since 1983, she continues to practice exclusively in the bankruptcy area. Born and raised in Gallipolis, Ohio, she graduated summa cum laude in 1975 from Ohio University in Athens and received her J.D. in 1979 from The Ohio State University College of Law. She has been certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification since 1993. She is a member of ABI (American Bankruptcy Institute). She has been a member of National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) since its inception. She is a Columbus Bar Foundation Fellow. She has been active in the Columbus Bar Assoc. Bankruptcy Committee since 1981, and is a past member of the CBA Professional Ethics committee. She was a member of the committee that drafted the pre-CMECF rules of practice for the bankruptcy courts in Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton. She has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer 2007 through 2024, and has also been listed in Super Lawyer's “Top 25 Women – Columbus Area”.Specialties: consumer bankruptcy: chapter 7 and chapter 13 representation for both debtors and creditors
