I have a career history. But that’s not me. Let me tell you who I am, what I believe in, why I think it is important, and how I can help you. My current role is a talent, career and employee engagement strategist, career and executive coach and leadership development facilitator. My WHO is not defined by role, or job title, but rather by who I am, my values, what I feel is important to people, business and society and how I show up in the world. My WHY is growth and development. I am interested in the growth of individuals, business and society. Examining the potential impact that disruptive technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Robotics will have on jobs and future careers excites me. Defining the possibilities for talent and what emerging capabilities are required for business success. The future of work will reward those who are emotionally aware, highly skilled, independent, resourceful, resilient, willing to learn and strategic career thinkers. My WHAT is I enable people to realise their potential and develop the capabilities required for them to successfully navigate emerging futures and different employment models (employee, gig, independent, portfolio). I build leadership capability, empower talent to step up, find their voice, express ideas, advocate change, navigate talent marketplaces and in doing so co-create their future. I cross the bridge between professional development and personal transformation. Development that makes a sustainable difference with meaningful and purposeful change. For those interested in credibility, my HOW is I have been the Director of my consulting company Because for the past 20 years. I have also been an employee in the organisational development area for another 10 years prior to this. Yes double digits so experienced with wisdom, insights and incredible life experiences to share. I have expertise in capability assessment, talent management, talent risk mitigation, succession planning, learning and development, career transition coaching and employee engagement. I have designed career and engagement tools and processes, talent and leadership programs as well as workshops and coaching interventions designed exclusively for women to thrive in the workplace. I also have developed a valid psychometric and coaching tool designed to measure and mitigate talent risks (retention, burnout, advocacy and under-utilised capability).Qualified with a Masters of Human Resources, Masters in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Bachelor of Economics, Diploma in Law and a Diploma in Spiritual Counselling.
