Pamela is a producer and engineer at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, CA. She is also a frequently hired vocalist, guitarist and pianist on different recordings by multiple artists at this studio. HSS is home to many albums by people like Jefferson Airplane, Herbie Hancock, Train, Chris Isaak, Michael Franti, The Coup, Joe Satriani, Ricky Lee Jones, Grateful Dead and so many more. Hyde Street Studios is one of the few standing historic studios equipped with the custom built Neve 8038 console in Studio A and many vintage microphones, like Frank Sinatra's favorite microphone the M49, the predecessor to the TLM 103. Some of her favorites to use on sessions included the Telefunken's U47, U47 Fet, & U67, plus the pair of C12 microphones, just to name a few. Pamela has produced most of her music at Hyde Street Studios and continues to work on the bulk of her recording at this amazing studio. Pamela Parker co-founded the San Francisco Rock School with MonaLisa Wallace in SF in 2009. Since then, SF Rock School has been providing homeschooling and after school opportunities for kids and teachers alike. We provide a vehicle for kids to rock out in a band together, while learning how to work together, as well as a place for students and teachers to connect for individual studies outside of the classroom.The SF Rock School is also home to the "Color My World Music" songwriting with colors workshop. Pamela developed this workshop during one of her first songwriting workshops, while she was doing independent studies about sound healing and color. As she was discovering the ways color can influence our lives in a very real way, she began teaching songwriting workshops. The two naturally intertwined and formed this workshop that basically shows the power of intention in color and songwriting. I teach voice, piano, guitar, recording and songwriting at Blue Bear School of Music. I've been at Blue Bear School of Music since moving to San Francisco Bay Area and love the community. I teach workshops, occassional bands and classes at High Sierra Music Festival every year. I love sharing music with everyone!

Pamela Parker took the curriculum she wrote for the San Francisco Rock School and used it for the program at Impact Performing Arts Center called Rock U started in Summer of 2012. Rock U is a place where everyone can learn how to rock out in a band, record their music, learn how to write a hit song, take private lessons and do live performances. Rock U also offers a couple of workshops like Songwriting with Colors and the Guest Musician Series Workshop with touring artists. Rock U is a place to learn about not only the musical aspect of being in a band, but also the business aspect of being in that band. The level each person wants to go to is how the experience and interaction with each band is shaped. It's all about what each person wants to create with their band. It is always different for every band and person that walks through the doors, so we cater each band and private lesson to the specific needs and desires of each person.
