  I emphasize comprehensive financial planning, and I focus on asking the right questions and looking at a client’s entire financial picture when helping them determine the best path for reaching their financial goals. I offer services in the areas of individual retirement planning, pension planning, advising clients on the legal ramifications of life events, small business consultations, corporate pension planning, life insurance, disability benefits, Medicare and 401(k)s.Born and raised in Louisville, I earned my Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies at Sullivan University College of Business Administration. I worked as a paralegal for ten years, and for much of that time I assisted in civil litigation and trials in Circuit Court, probate, real estate transactions, bankruptcy and domestic relations. I also worked with the Department of Insurance investigating workers compensation claims. I earned my insurance licenses, and in 1994, I earned my Series 6 and 63 licenses and began providing investment services to clients. My background in the legal field provides an understanding of not just the financial but the legal implications of client life events such as the death of a loved one, real estate transactions, divorce, bankruptcy, etc. I believe that financial planning is an ongoing, progressive process and that periodic reviews are necessary to help clients stay on track. As such, I meet regularly with each client to touch base on their financial situation and help them stay focused while achieving their financial goals.
