Interior Design –October 2009 -- August 2012My efforts in negotiating and closing deals resulted in increased revenue of over $800,000 in sales and growth in a 3-year period. I completed Sales Training Value Selling, Tell not Sell consultative format and Master Plan, initiated contact with customers, established relationships, demonstration of showroom items, knowledge of features of inventory and catalogue items, traveled to client’s home or commercial space for onsite visits to determine decision makers, for deliveries and installations, represented store at annual Dayton Home & Garden Show and on local radio broadcast to gain insight into the current trends and expand clientele, created computer drafted layouts, presented designs and plans to customers, assisted with annual inventory audits, monitored competitors product and trends, initiated and developed digital marketing strategy working closely with the owner on the store’s marketing strategy including website and completed multi-level and $20,000 Master Plan projects. Analyzed data to determine marketing cluster areas, managed and exercised time management to measure ROI and goal achievement, corresponded with manufacturers and sales representatives from various furniture and accessory lines.I sought out like-minded non-competitive individuals and entities to partner for lead generation and qualification, maximized opportunities with follow-up: direct mail, email or via telephone.
