Philosophy - my college concentration was the perfect discipline for my career in marketing. In philosophy you learn that there are different ways to understand the world. Each has its internal logic and lexicon. Any argument to introduce a new thoughts or behaviors has to be consistent with that internal logic and expressed in that internal lexicon. I learned that it was not my role to judge but to understand that logic and develop compelling argument within it.That's the way of the marketer.
