Payment has become a key component of airlines’ strategic planning as the industry restarts. The airlines are still cash-strapped and at the same time need to plan for challenges and opportunities impacting their relationship with the customers and their financial situation.IATA works directly with the airlines on a set of key industry activities, including advocacy and strategy, supporting it in improved value creation helping to achieve the airline’s individual objectives such as customer reach, cash preservation and reduced payment acceptance cost. I am currently carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:• Automating processes to generate invaluable insights for airlines through data reports.• Creating Dashboards in PowerBI that allows airlines to have a better understanding of their current financial situation and cost optimization. • Managing the complete data ETL process within an organizational-wide data warehouse and performing recurrent data analytics and monitoring. • Performing payment instrument analysis and classification based on BIN detection. • Subject matter expert support, enabling stakeholders to optimize their payment strategies. • In-depth risk analysis and identification of risk factors such as but not limited to manual entry of card authorization, fare manipulation and card chargeback management.

The ISIS2 Migration Team is responsible for one of the key strategic IATA projects with the objective to migrate all BSPs to the new IATA billing software ISIS2. Leveraged my prior experience in BSP billing software to carry out the following tasks and responsibilities:• Document current procedures and functionalities, including extensive reverse engineer-ing.• Functional gap analysis with new ISIS2 software.• Validation of business requirements.• Process rationalization.• Elaborating application change requests.• Stakeholder management with IATA operational teams, airlines and travel agencies.
