According to Myers & Briggs, I was supposed to be a librarian. And considering my love for reading, that’s not too far off the mark. But my college didn’t have a library sciences program, so I majored in English (much to my parents’ chagrin). Writing engaging, informative and response-driven copy for diverse audiences and channels is a passion and something I truly enjoy. From print and digital campaigns to radio and video transcripts, my communication skills are adaptable across media, industries and audiences.I have extensive experience with email marketing, including writing email copy, measuring campaign engagement and tracking analytics. I’m also experienced in working to enforce brand consistency through communication voice, style, tone and content. I was nominated to serve on the UW-Milwaukee Style Guide Committee, a group tasked with creating a university wide style guide to direct consistency in written communication throughout the organization.I feel fortunate to be able to do what I love on a daily basis. And even more fortunate that I was able to turn an English degree into gainful employment!
