Interdisciplinary - Intercultural – International: The driving forces of my vocation! I am passionate about working with people from different cultures, professions and personal backgrounds. Diversity is an enrichment for me and a stimulating opportunity to broaden each other's horizons and to leave the own comfort zone. For many years, I worked as an international business lawyer in various functions: as attorney at law, in-house counsel, managing director, compliance, diversity and ethics officer and representative of a European NGO. Over the course of my career, I frequently established and developed new governance structures, operated board structures, and headed diverse and interdisciplinary project teams. With respect to international management competence, I acquired several certifications as Intercultural Trainer and Coach (including online trainings). Social engagement and honorary commitment were always and still are important for me in life. Based on these multifaceted experiences and skills, I now work as an independent legal and strategic consultant for international clients in Europe and Africa. I frequently act at the interface between legal requirements and operational concerns and aim to find practice-oriented solutions. Thereby, I often assume the role of a facilitator especially in development work projects. As board advisor, I support and moderate international boards, train and coach board members and act as international expert on “Women on Boards”. Furthermore, I support my clients in the implementation of compliance, governance and ethics requirements in business processes. I am also a lecturer and speaker on governance, diversity, leadership and cross-culture management.
