Hired as Director of Nursing. After 6 weeks, was promoted to Provisional Administrator.SNF and LTC facilities with tremendous labor budget overspend due to use of temporary nursing staff. Partnered with board, hired RN’s withing 90 days and eliminated use of temporary staff to bring labor spend in line with budget. Implemented numerous facility improvements including new flooring, new spa tub, new dryer and reduced turnover. Facility operated within budget and performed with a profit at the time of my departure.
