Senior CAD Applications Engineering Specialist -Responsible for providing direct MicroStation, AutoCAD and Plotting support to over 200 users through a SharePoint CAD ticket system. Develop various resource documents for the CAD Operations Support Team and individual operators. Meet weekly with CAD Operations team to strategize solutions for current issues as well as develop and implement standardization and enforcement goals.CAD Project Compliance/Conversion Coordinator -Responsible for conducting weekly compliance meetings with Project CAD Leads of all Disciplines to insure client standards and users needs are being met on a daily basis. Determine required programming needs to convert MicroStation working drawings to AutoCAD that conform to the client’s deliverable requirements. Implement client CAD Standards and maintain quality assurance through effective communication, reviews and audits. Plan for future project compliance/conversion needs based on current challenges.CAD Trainer -Responsible for creating and teaching a PowerPoint interactive training course for MicroStation users that incorporates Foster Wheeler company standards. Information presented so users in any discipline, working on any project can improve upon their skills and work more efficiently on a daily basis. Created and taught a PowerPoint interactive training course for Borders, Tags, Fonts and Plots to allow users to follow in order to meet company requirements. Determine future training needs of users based on new hires, current users and Project Manager requests.

CAD Project Team Lead - Responsible for representing the CAD team on various projects in production meetings with lead project engineers. Organize and present documented areas of improvement for future projects based on current challenges. Train and assign tasks to CAD Technicians based on skill level and project deadlines. Create and implement review processes to ensure consistency and quality throughout the drawing set. Lead company in transition from MicroStation J to V8 by instruction, documenting new procedures and creating new CAD standards.Senior CAD Technician -Responsible for coordinating directly with Project Managers, Subcontractors and Clients to ensure requirements and needs are being met. Prepare Letters of Interest in reply to TxDOT Notice of Intents. Produce and QA/QC various documents including Interstate Access Justification Reports and Feasibility Reports. Coordinate with Senior Planners to evaluate results of public and stakeholder meetings, then GIS technicians to design layouts that reflect the feasibility process including screening and evaluation. Coordinate with Engineers to draft alternatives, conceptual designs then a preferred alternative to produce a geometric schematic for projects including interstate highways, interchange configurations and ramp reversals. Produce plan sets from initiation, through each deliverable milestone to 100% construction documents using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Create and implement CAD procedures based on TxDOT standards for new engineering company.Representative Projects -Various Transportation projects for the Beaumont, Corpus Christi, San Antonio and El Paso Districts of TxDOT.
