Co-authored a book commissioned by the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) to highlight its involvement in solar and wind projects in South Africa. The book led with a strong focus on socio-economic and enterprise development initiatives, which have been a major South African success story.

I have produced a range of content for the Economist Intelligence Unit including articles on everything from healthcare and technology to mining and manufacturing and the impact on education on labour outcomes. In another project, I produced city portraits for the Siemens African Green City index.

Joined FYM, a new business magazine aimed at young people aged 16-20, as editor-in chief midway through production of the first issue in July 2012. The magazine was one of 100 applicants to receive a £50,000 loan in the Big Issue Invest Tech for Good Challenge.

Dubai & London

• Attended the two-day Africa Global Business Forum in Dubai on May 1 – May 2, jointly organised by COMESA RIA and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
