Certified Marriage Coach - Led Marriage classes and one on one meetings. Assisted two organizations in obtaining 501c3 tax exempt status and one in setting up a LLC. Provided record keeping for new organizations. Assisted with set design and set up and take down for weekly events. Oversaw the start-up and development of multiple homeschool groups including maintaining membership rosters and overseeing marketing the groups and events to the larger community. Developed relationships with key community businesses to start programs for students (martial arts, fitness, arts, theater, etc). Coordinated and organized both small scale and large scale social events (banquets, proms, etc) and educational field trips. Taught homeschool co-op classes and provided record keeping to parents (Improv, Speech, and Life Skills including Conflict Resolution).Home educated two students from K through 12th grade with both students admitted to 4 year universities with scholarships. Developed lesson plans and educational curriculum that met state requirements and/or suitable for college enrollments. Maintained and ran home including paying all bills in a timely manner, coordinating several large cross country moves, making connections in new communities, maintained a calendar for family including healthcare executives, etc. Coordinated multiple in-state and out of state moves (20 over 27 years) for a family of four as well as served as the logistic coordinator for 3 additional out of state moves.

Part of a start up team for a psychiatric residential treatment center serving adolescents. Primary person involved in developing start up/new agency policy and procedure. Planned, developed and implemented strategy for personnel management and development. Interviewed applicants and made hiring decisions. Developed and presented training. Monitored staff performance and provided consultation to the direct care staff through verbal and written conceptual feedback.Prepared and processed payroll, as well as set up benefits. Oversaw Quality Assurance activities.

Lived in and oversaw the operations of a therapeutic group home for at risk youth along with my husband. Responsible for teaching social skills, writing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating with various professionals on behalf of youth, providing family-style atmosphere, advocating for adolescents, & managing a home budget. In addition, I provided training for staff organization wide and made presentations at the national level. Skilled in Behavior Modification, Teaching Family Model, Reality Therapy, Group Process, Crisis Intervention and Management. Winner of an agency level award as well as a national level award as a distinguished practitioner.
