About Pam Gehman

Are you looking to purchase your first home? A vacation home? Build your dream home? Refinance to consolidate debt or shorten your term? Then I am your lender!!For more than 22 years, I have been serving the customers of The Dime Bank in a variety of functions. I have finally attained my dream of being THE Mortgage Loan Originator for The Dime Bank’s Honesdale, Damascus and Carbondale offices. With over 10 years of experience as a Mortgage Lender while managing the Damascus Office, I have helped countless customers realize their dream of home ownership or the experience of refinancing to better their financial standing. My goal is to create a win-win solution with realtors, builders and customer’s alike. One of the ways I like to accomplish that is by breaking down the mortgage process into small manageable steps and explaining each step as the loan progresses. I graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Banking in 2012, Leadership Wayne in 2014, and I have completed numerous classes with the American Institute of Banking, holding diplomas in Bank Operations, Consumer, Commercial and Mortgage Lending. In 2014, I was promoted to AVP for The Dime Bank. These accomplishments give me the insight necessary to efficiently bring Mortgage Loans to fruition. When not working, I enjoy participating in many activities to benefit the community. I lead a yearly fund raiser for The Damascus Food Pantry by organizing an Annual Scrap Metal Drive. The scrap metal drive is a win-win by raising funds through selling the scrap metal that is donated and it also helps clean up the community. It is wonderful to see everyone come together for a common goal. I take a thoughtful approach oftentimes thinking outside the box. So, if you are talking to me and there is a long awkward pause, know that it is because I am processing all the different scenarios to come up with the best possible solution to create that much sought after… WIN-WIN!!
