 Implemented a 6 month long project to correct several critical citations issued by the Minnesota Department of Health. Focused on policy/procedures, client care practices, training and all regulatory requirements, resulting in 100% compliance re-survey result. Co-led with company CEO, a portal envisioning project to design a unique web based life experience program resulting in a pilot of a holistic, enterprise tele-care and social engagement solution for the elderly. Developed and deployed a program for individuals discharged from short-term rehabilitation units for added support in the community to reduce readmissions, improve outcomes, and enhance their lives. Resulted in decreased utilization of emergency department and hospital services by 90% and increased quality of life indicators by 16% within 45 days of discharge. Led a company- wide outcomes research study that demonstrated the Lifesprk Experience™ Life Care Management model decreases hospitalizations by 73% and emergency department visits by 52%. Design leader for the next generation of the Lifesprk Experience™, a holistic model of Life Care Management resulting in a unique methodology and tool set for to life care planning and management. Co-led the delivery of the first pilot of the Advocacy Leadership for Positive Aging (ALPA) program, designed to help seniors gain the skills needed to age positively. Resulted in 13 community based advocacy initiatives implemented by program participants. Designed several incubator and special programs to position Lifesprk for new business partnerships and expansion in new service lines. Programs integrated post-acute community based services with existing models to create new approaches to care management across the health care continuum.

 Developed new Transition Care Management and Complex Care Management program for the integrated home care management market, impacted 30 day readmission rates by a decrease of 30% resulting in decreased cost and improved quality. Secured a 5 year, $58 million contract renewal with a strategic client for the business unit, with subsequent completion of several program and technology enhancements while exceeding service level commitments and budget targets. Served as SVP for Univita Integrated Home Care Business Unit, directed integration of Nursing Home Management Services with Complex Care Management programs. (2010-2011) Achieved URAC Accreditation for Health Utilization Management, Case Management and Disease Management in a 12 month period for two strategic business units. Participated as one of six leaders selected across the organization in a Leadership Development program at the Carlson Business School Executive Program, resulting in the development and launch of new corporate values and social outreach program.

 Integrated 4 business unit implementation processes into one OptumHealth program, providing a consistent experience for customers and sales team working across the entire portfolio of products. Led new customer onboarding program that increased 700% in volume from 2006 to 2007. Established and led a market based strategic account management team, onboarding 40 new staff members in 2006. Built infrastructure within Client Services for process improvement, escalated customer issue management, new program development and deployment and clinical account services consultation. Implemented sales support tools, proposal process improvements, and new product launch initiatives to drive revenue growth of care management services within UnitedHealthcare, Uniprise and new retail markets. Served as Customer Interaction Business Architect for design and deployment of Insight Driven Account Management Program for UHG.

 Developed and implemented a three year business plan to revitalize HRM’s core TPA (third party administration) business unit through deployment of new and advanced technologies and re-establishing an organizational focus on the market and our customers.  Built new identity for 4YourCare division through implementation of branding, naming and marketing communications plan. Recruited sales team to achieve aggressive revenue growth plan for 2001, focused on achieving the vision of becoming the highest value and lowest cost health plan management program. Designed and instituted a Leadership Development Program for all senior managers in the company. Developed a cohesive team of results based senior managers that raised the bar of talent, commitment, focus and innovation within the company.
