Paula Ann Miller began her career at PwC, and has over thirty years experience serving law firms, private businesses and Fortune 500 companies. She founded P A Miller Consulting, Inc. (PAMC) in 1995 and continues to serve as President with offices in Houston and NYC. She has served as a member of several Boards, including the Advisory Board of Directors for BBVA USA where she continued to serve through BBVA USA’s acquisition by PNC Financial Services. Ms. Miller is a strong business leader with deep knowledge of finance, forensic accounting, auditing, due diligence, governance & compliance, strategic planning, cybersecurity, restructuring and valuation. She has performed due diligence for acquisitions with transaction value exceeding $10 billion. She continues to provide expert testimony involving accounting reconstruction, forensic accounting, lost profit analysis, financial modeling, forensic investigations & audits, FCPA claims, due diligence, valuation, contract compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and claims preparation & review.Ms. Miller graduated from the Owner President Management Program (OPM) at Harvard Business School. Prior to attending HBS, she graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting and Tax. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Houston, earning a BS in PreLaw.Ms. Miller is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and completed the Corporate Director Certificate program at Harvard Business School and the Director’ Consortium program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She earned a certificate in Business Valuations, and Cybersecurity from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a Compliance & Ethics Professional member.Ms. Miller served on the Board of Directors (TBAE) for the State of Texas as an appointee of Governor Rick Perry, continuing to serve under the leadership of Governor Greg Abbott. During her term on the board, she served on the Executive Committee, chaired the Budget Committee, was a member of the Compensation Committee, served as acting board Secretary, and was selected as a Mediation Delegate for the State of Texas.Ms. Miller currently serves on the Board of Directors, Governance Committee, Audit Committee, and as Treasurer for the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston and Regional Board of Directors for American Bank.
