Former Head of Trading (Senior Vice President), Europe and Asia, at Pioneer Investment Management Limited. I was responsible for overseeing the dealing desks in our Dublin and Singapore investment offices. Pioneer has a group AUM of 160bln euro. My main tasks were to develop the trading procedures, dealing systems, and to be actively involved in day-to-day dealing. I have over 30 years’ experience in creating and building competent dealing desks covering cash equity, portfolio trading, futures, options and swaps around the world. The team consisted of 4 traders based in Dublin and Singapore. I was the Designated person for Pioneers dealing desk for interaction with the Central Bank of Ireland.I implemented three OMS systems (Charles River, Latent Zero and Aladdin) and two EMS platforms (Newport and Bloomberg EMSX). In the Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) space I have had experience of Elkins McSherry, ITG posit and Abel Noser and various commission management tools. I have dealt with compliance, audit, IT and client presentations. The most recent project has been the deployment of Aladdin as the global OMS system which was successfully migrated at the end of August.
