Derived from deviations in project execution, we carried out the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project Development System (SIDP) within Petroleos Mexicanos; composed of criterias, procedures, practices and tools that define our Project Development Process, divided into three stages; Definition, Execution and Expost Evaluation, the first is done through approval gates and using the Front-End Loading methodology (FEL), where the project team develops progressively several deliverables ensuring reach a project right definition.Then the project is approved and funded for execution. In this stage, we used methodologies to oversight the project budget, schedule, scope of work, and other requirements; finally, during the evaluation stage “ex-post”, we verify compliance with the project objectives set at the beginning, mandatories for the business.
