Derived from deviations in project execution, we carried out the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project Development System (SIDP) within Petroleos Mexicanos; composed of criterias, procedures, practices and tools that define our Project Development Process, divided into three stages; Definition, Execution and Expost Evaluation, the first is done through approval gates and using the Front-End Loading methodology (FEL), where the project team develops progressively several deliverables ensuring reach a project right definition.Then the project is approved and funded for execution. In this stage, we used methodologies to oversight the project budget, schedule, scope of work, and other requirements; finally, during the evaluation stage “ex-post”, we verify compliance with the project objectives set at the beginning, mandatories for the business. Training and Implementation of planning and execution tools developed by the Construction Industry Institute (CII®) to Pemex projects. Implementation and standardization of Primavera Project Planner (P6®) as tool for projects control.Instructor in a Project Management Workshop imparted at the Nacional University of Mexico (UNAM) in order to fullfill the program of improving skills for project execution in Petroleos Mexicanos. Monitoring and analysis of investment project portfolio, identifying deviations, following-up on the actions taken by project teams in order to control its impact, cost and time forecasts, estimate at completion cost and time calculation, and others several analysis to Senior Management for timely decision-making to ensure project and business objectives.
