Early in my career, I had questions. I also had mentors, managers, and people who were willing to provide career advice. I did not have a trusted place to go to do research. With time, in our information age, the internet has given access to what were career insights passed on from person to person. This however, is overwhelming and unstructured. Today, we are educated yet, 40% of college students are under-employed (earn less than $25K per year) - these experiences are why we founded Archer Career. My education from the Univ. of Kansas and Chicago Booth led to high impact work in technology and strategy consulting. I launched new products, evaluated new-to-world technologies, built an IPO financial model, and was in high performing teams. I found coaching/mentoring - it became a clear purpose. I coached at Chicago Booth and then, my firm, Arch Career Partners. For 10+ years, my work includes: 25K individuals, 30 higher education clients, 14 countries, and cumulative first-year salary of $30M. I saw the opportunity to scale the impact of my coaching expertise and insights. During my doctoral work at DePaul University, I created the framework for a new company, and drew the product on the back of a napkin...yep, really. I co-founded Archer Career, an early stage CareerTech, where I am CEO and Head of Instructional design.I am a human capitalist – my work’s purpose is to advance careers and organizations, particularly for early career launchers and women. My focus is to build skills and confidence, to advance careers and to close equity gaps.Expertise: Early stage startup, product, founder, executive leadership, MVP, prototype, business development, fundraising, business model creation, partnerships, negotiation, strategic planning, talent acquisition, and growth. Coaching expertise: Career strategy, networking, company research, resume development, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, case interviews, salary negotiation, career advancement, and work-life challenges.
