A business counselor, advisor and advocate. As a federal prosecutor, Pam tried more than 50 jury trials and briefed and argued numerous appeals in the local and federal courts. She has authored petitions for a writ of certiorari in the US Supreme Court. While in the Office of International Affairs at the Department of Justice, she represented foreign governments in high profile extradition cases and gathered evidence for prosecutors all over the world. She learned insurance coverage when she entered private practice. Pam is a proactive advisor who can spot legal issues and develop and manage solutions to problems. She has managed and directed corporate internal investigations and litigation and Congressional investigations on behalf of witnesses and target companies. She helped represent Senator Robert Packwood before the U.S. Senate when he was charged with sexual harassment (conduct unbecoming the Senate). She draws on a vast network to work collaboratively with other law firms when appropriate. Current law practice emphasizes white collar criminal defense including international extradition, corporate governance, regulatory issues including security clearance matters, business law, wealth management, and estate planning. Her practice areas include real estate, employment law (discrimination, sexual harassment, disability, age discrimination as well as security clearance matters). She is currently licensed in New York and Virginia. She is eligible to serve as "in house" counsel for corporations and organizations in the District of Columbia and to counsel clients in federal matters before regulatory agencies.
