CurrentIn this role, I inspire and guide the community, including board members, staff, stakeholders, and the broader community. I drive financial and strategic planning for Land’s Sake by focusing on the development, education, and events programs, as well as their respective budgets. By utilizing a supportive and empowering approach, I foster staff collaboration, autonomy, professional growth, and a sense of responsibility.I actively strengthen partnerships with donors, towns, schools, and similar organizations, broadening Land’s Sake’s network and support base. As a spokesperson for the organization, I expand Land’s Sake’s opportunities and secure its financial sustainability by forging new relationships.Together with the board and key staff members, I execute both short- and long-term strategic plans across areas such as education, farm and forestry operations, and retail. I also ensure the organization’s growth by innovating a development plan that includes driving membership growth, donor cultivation, grant writing, and fundraising events to obtain adequate funding, staffing, and infrastructure.I achieved a two-fold growth in long-term relationships with new donors and foundations.Increased organization’s food donations from approximately 40K pounds a year to almost 60K pounds. Refined entire farm infrastructure to net-zero standards and enhanced sustainability by orchestrating a $6M capital campaign.Scaled organizational team from five full-time employees to 14 by leveraging strong recruitment, selection, and training techniques.I boosted annual revenue from $750K to $1.8M while doubling community farm usage, expanding hunger relief efforts, and servicing a highly diverse customer base.
