Leading the association that represents over 4,500 members in the field of collegiate recreation that serves over 10 million students on college and university campuses across North America. Responsible for operations at NIRSA Headquarters, fostering external relationships, and working closely with NIRSA’s Board of Directors, as well as the boards of the NIRSA Foundation and NIRSA Services Corporation, to actuate the aligned strategic plan of all three entities in service to members.

Assisted the NIRSA Board will all aspects of leadership transition.

Served as second-in-command with responsibility for accounting, IT, sports programs, and other departments over time. Was a key contributor to the Association’s transition to a ‘Future First’ governance model and worked closely with the inaugural Assembly and Member Network. Also led the Professional Registry Work Team resulting in the establishment of a competency based credential that supports life-long learning for the field. Assisted the Executive Director with strategy development, talent development, and management of the NIRSA, NIRSA Foundation and NIRSA Services Corporation Boards.

Responsible for all aspects of accounting function for family owned property management company with over 80 properties in 5 states.

Provided audit and tax services as a staff accountant, then senior accountant, for corporate, non-profit, pension plan and individual clients. Also worked in estate planning department preparing gift and estate tax returns.

Held a variety of position in the regional office to support the accounting and data processing functions. Part of the team that established a regional accounting office that centralized the accounting function for a 4 state region. Supervised accounts payable function for the region.Also served as a corporate trainer during a company wide implementation of accounting software systems.
