Responsible for all of the financial transactions of 5 Business Units including Treasury, A/P, A/R, G/L, fixed assets, cash management, fleet credit card management, T&E card management, real estate management, Joint Interest Billing and the annual audit. 4 Direct reports, 14 indirect reports in multiple locations. Activities include managing the P&L and overseeing the close cycle for J-W Admin Company, reporting, partnering with 5 Business unit controllers and processing their entire month end accounting to close in 10 business days, project management, streamlining the operation, improving productivity, developing self-sustaining teams, vendor negotiations. Supervised the daily general accounting operations including A/P, general ledger, financial reporting, billing, payroll, cash management, fixed assets and taxes. Ten direct reports. Monthly activities included preparation of monthly debt covenant compliance reports, managing the P&L, cash flows, financial analysis and financial reporting to the corporate CFO as well as the Managing Partners. Reported to the Chief Financial Officer.

Supervised daily general accounting operations including accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, financial analysis and reporting. Administered all aspects of the general ledger including monthly and year-end close, sub ledger reconciliations and journal entry review. Coordinated annual external financial statement and benefit plan audits, assuring all accounts are free of material misstatement before audits are started. Supervised preparation, review and filing of DOL Form 5500's for all benefit plans. Preparation of monthly debt covenant compliance reports. Assist CFO in preparation of loan documents with banks including review of credit agreements, initiating letters of credit and setting up an interest rate swap agreement. Managed all aspects of federal, state & local tax filings including coordination with outside accountants, detailed review of each return, calculation of estimated payments and coordination of federal and state audits. Administer all aspects of lease financing including conducting an RFP, negotiating terms with lessors and accounting for capital leases.
