I have been working in the MEP industry since 1986 working in various roles ranging from engineering, drafting, site management and multi services coordination in the UK, Asia and Australia.Using this experience I have successfully grown KSG to become one of Australia's leading independent MEP drafting and coordination companies. Due to the increased growth of the business Bimserve pty ltd was formed in 2012 as a separate BIM management and coordination entity which draws on the experience of all staff associated with KSG and selected additions to provide BIM solutions where required.BIM Delivery.Using Navisworks, I-Construct, BIM Track and 3D lazer scanning, as well as in house workflows, we provide a custom BIM solution for each client / project.Full project modeling is also a part of the BIMServe delivery which reduces multi-trade coordination time and provides the project with a full set of services documents fully coordinated and ready for manufacture detailing.Workshop drawings.Using CADMEP, Revit MEP, ACAD or a combination of all 3 using our custom templates and workflows, our experience in these platforms provides services contractors with a fit for purpose set of documents and models. CADMEP (Autodesk Fabrication Software) allows us the option to provide mechanical contractors and duct manufacturers direct export to MAJ format to work with their manufacturing workflow. We have internal workflows that allow us to export this infpormation direct from CADMEP or Revit.Simple design layouts, As Built documentation, fully detailed workshop drawings or multi-services coordination are still the backbone of the company however BIMServe has created a new client base whereby part or full BIM documentation and management is provided to our clients to suit their individual project requirements.
