Possessing over 15+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry in both large Financial Institutions and start ups, Philip is a seasoned Risk professional with deep experience in Leadership, Quality Assurance/Compliance monitoring, control testing and implementing robust risk frameworks to provide key insights to stakeholders across the value chain and uphold effective risk management controls and best practices. Prior Banking experience includes leading a team of legendary Business Performance analysts in 1LOD risk management, providing residential and investment lending solutions as a Home Finance Manager and specialist Business Banking services. Prior to working in the Financial Services industry, Philip honed his sales & management skills working as a Store Manager for Vodafone, & in the New Vehicle sales industry as an Assistant Sales Manager for Nepean Motor Group.Philip completed his studies in Business and Commerce (BBusCom) from Western Sydney University, Majoring in Applied Finance, where he was awarded the Dean's Merit List for outstanding academic achievement in both 2016 and 2017 from WSU School of Business. During his time at WSU, Philip was granted membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society, having been recognised in the top 15% of his class in academic performance.A keen charity fundraiser, actively participating in the Movember foundation and the Distinguished Gentleman's ride, raising money for men's cancer research.With a keen passion for car & motorcycle customisation, Philip has also won multiple awards for his efforts at multiple customised car & motorcycle events such as WTAC show and shine, Datsun Day (NSW) etc.
