Created a component-based Frontend Web Application with a webpack-based build system, continuous-integration pipeline, complete with a presentation layer to deliver artifacts to Backend and QA teams for testing/integration. Implemented a REST API, and stateful UI leveraging a full suite of webservices and fully-custom integration of a third-party OS application to deliver a fast-download experience from the convenience of a web browser. Implemented an overwhelming proportion of the project, along with mock webservices and dynamic development environment to decouple Frontend feature development from backend sprint schedules. Responsible for gauging technical effort, delegating/scheduling features amongst the team, and working closely with UX, Design, and Backend teams to meeting abnormally tight deadlines, evolving designs/business logic, and working around cross-team technical constraints.

Responsible for maintaining and updating existing pages of apple.com, developing internal tools, and prototyping functional and creative elements. Wrote an internal markup generator that reduced manual edits from hours to minutes. Deployed a server to render third-party sites with Apple web pages/assets, automated with a CI pipeline that’s also backwards-compatible with the core project. Daily technologies used: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WebGL (three.js), SCSS, Git, subversion, gulp, and various internal libraries for DOM manipulation and artifact builds. Led two frontend projects, scoping architectural decisions and code-maintainability.

Developed user interfaces for a variety of web services with the following: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Tomcat, Subversion, DataTables, SQL, and Bootstrap. Role involved some Java and server-side data processing with SQL. Key responsibilities included working with backend developers to verify and improve API services, as well as communicating with end-users to create efficient workflows.

Made significant pushes in business development, web development, and manufacturing of micropipettes for the medical and biotech industries. Manufactured micrometric scale product ranging from 200nm to 100 microns and tolerances of +/- 1 micron. Designed shockproof packaging containers and loading jigs, which boosted production by 50 percent.

Created a technical manual for 20 unique pieces of lab equipment. Managed static webpages using standard web technologies: HTML/CSS/Javascript. Sourced customer base ranging from the private industry to research universities. Designed, drafted, and machined 15 pieces of lab equipment.
