Managed 24/7 wood shavings and pelleting operation. Forecasted production schedule; designed and developed SOP’s for operational activities for the entire plant, conducted “cause and effect analysis” among other lean techniques to increase overall plant performance. Administered audit quality control activities to ensure fulfillment of all customer requirements. Implemented the use of CMMS on maintenance activities centering attention to increasing equipment reliability. Identified and coordinated specialized training for critical positions and activities. Introduced the use of the 5s system to the team and ensured the successful execution of the system throughout all areas of the plant. Conducted KPI meetings with plant personnel and the entire management team.

Developed a comprehensive manual that fulfilled FDA regulations. Supported Engineering/Maintenance Department; provided high-end mechanical knowledge necessary to create and implement processes improvements focus on Equipment Reliability initiatives.
