Heading the content and collaboration functions at APSEd.

APSEd, an e-learning platform for civil engineering, is one of the best online learning platform providing an optimized learning experience for students. Its concise courses are viewed by more than 1,00,000+ students from all over India and have received tremendous engagement and feedback. As recent trends suggest, there is a shift from offline learning to online learning. Work involves, developing content related to various topics of Civil Engineering and generate e-book content for competitive exams like GATE, ISRO and IES.

AINE is a technology company, developing technology products that are inherently enabled with artificial intelligence. With APIs and customizable hosted products, AINE allows legacy and developing software to make use of AI modules readily available in the market. Work involved, developing AI-based content for the e-learning courses and designing Singaporean curriculum for PSLE and S1-4.

Worked in the field of “Global Road Safety; country variant models for road traffic fatalities 2016” under Dr. Akhilesh Maurya, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati. 38 countries across the globe were selected and their demographic features, road network, road safety-related data, traffic police data, traffic penalty data etc. were collected from the country’s authentic sources. Data were visualized and statistically analyzed using Minitab 19, R 3.6.0. Most of the data representations were done using Tableau 2019.2. During modeling (for road traffic death rate), for the purpose of data fitting, 3 models were adopted namely Smeed’s model, negative binomial model, and simple regression model.

Worked on the project “Black Spot Recognition on Thanjavur- Trichy stretch, NH 83 and its accident data analysis”. The project work involved analyzing black spots on NH 83, considering microscopic and macroscopic traffic flow characteristics. The traffic volume and speed data were collected manually for both the directions for 24 hours direction. Considering the cross-sectional surveys and the accident data provided by the consultancy, the geometric elements were proposed for redesigning. The project work was assisted by Trichy highway authority.
