I have 14 years in the humanities sector after a career in the corporate world that included hospitality, aged care, print media and general insurance.It is my privilege to continue to work alongside and support people receiving disability and mental health individualised supports from a recovery standpoint. Also, to mentor individuals and teams working in the industry. I see both my life and professional experience to this point to be a golden source of knowledge and learning.My experience includes managing grants funded and fee for service psychosocial outreach and centre based programs for individuals and their (mental health) carers. I have worked with children and adults, carers and their families where people live daily with complex challenges associated with diverse abilities, including physical, intellectual and neurodiverse.Building trust by demonstrating integrity builds rapport and underpins all my professional relationships both with colleagues and when developing and maintaining networks with external stakeholders.
