Panduranga Rao Malode Vishwanatha Rao (born on 10th November 1971) is an Indian academic who is serving as the Professor and Head of the Computer Science department, at BTL institute of technology, Bangalore.Panduranga Rao MV is an alumnus of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Bangalore where he completed his Doctoral - Ph.D. (2015) in computer science and engineering. His advisor was Professor K C Shet, a famous Indian-born internationally renowned scientist from NITK, Surathkal. The title of thesis is “Study of a Development Approach for Scheduling in Embedded System Domain”.Earlier, he obtained his M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University VTU, India in 2001.His bachelor degree in electronics and communication engineering is from Kuvempu university, Karnataka in 1995. He has held various senior positions such as Head of the Department, Principal scientist and Patent analyst of Academic Research. He also serves on the Board of examiners in Indian Universities. He has published over 60 Research papers in different International Journals and Conferences, more in the area of embedded system and cloud architectures. He authored two reference text books, on “Linux Internals” in the area of UNIX operating system. He has started guiding many research scholars across the world. He has visited JAPAN, Thailand, Taiwan and Okinawa. His team of researchers is from USA, UK, Australia, Bahrain, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and Canada. The team is working on several projects utilizing grants from several organizations across the world.
