Cofounded the company with the idea to virtualize the cloud database platform by bridging enterprise resident databases with Cloud computing resources using a novel data streaming solution that can speed up Big Data Cloud computing by 100X.

Fullpower is a startup founded by Borland founder - Philippe Kahn. The company was focused on the convergence of mobile technologies and life sciences. As Head of Engineering reporting to the CEO, lead the development of cloud based infrastructure, mobile applications, data aggregation, web applications and widgets for social networking.

Founded the company to provide XML based foundation for information and services aggregation for portals and mobile applications; Built and managed a globally distributed team; Responsible for overall Architecture; Deployed a Mobile Commerce Portal for AT&T Wireless; Sold an OEM license to a KPCB funded company; Obtained portal partnerships with IBM and Oracle; Developed customizable Real-Time multi-site Vertical Search and Aggregation solution that included Mobile application frameworks and Flash based Rich Internet Applications; Sold the company to Fullpower and joined as Head of Engineering.

Provided strategy and architecture consulting to ADP Dealer Services in moving towards an N-tier distributed system using Message Queuing and Web based technologies; Came up with a design for next generation system which is now deployed at thousands of auto dealerships worldwide.

Developed Web based Query & Business Intelligence tools; Responsibilities included: engineering management, product definition, design, customer visits and working with beta customers including AT&T and Chase; The company was acquired by Cognos (in turn acquired by IBM).

As the principal architect, came up with the concept, architecture and design for core database platform for Borland Windows product family - that included local database engines, query processors and transparent connectivity to server databases. Implemented the core foundation. Tuned the performance and helped Borland win many industry benchmarks. Introduced many innovative features for the time like multiple storage engines (like MySQL), shared services and query sub-system, bookmarks, cross-db joins, editable result sets, in-memory tables etc.Became Director of R&D and managed an engineering team of 35+ engineers and released five successive releases of the technology in various Borland products including Delphi, Paradox, dBase, C++, BDE and SQL Drivers. Represented Borland in SQL and X-Open standards committees and worked closely with technology partners IBM and Novell. Gave talks at Borland Developer conferences. Conducted developer/partner conference focused on Borland database products.

Designed and developed the data repository platform - a core component of dBASE development platform.

Carnegie Group was a Carnegie-Mellon University spin off and was a pioneer of AI/Expert Systems. Integrated Lisp based Knowledge Craft with Database Systems.
