I've been enjoying my time playing video games and collecting all sorts of strange and wonderful squids, all hobbies that have been carried over from my childhood days.I got my start in the CCA room of my secondary school, where I'd been put into the IT department of the media club by pure chance. It was there that I discovered the joys of programming and game development, which then lead me to pursue a future in games, getting into computing for O levels and participating in an early admission for a course specialising in game development to pursue a future in the field.I have since gotten into the game development course I aimed for, worked hard to attain my current GPA of 4.00, acquired an NYP scholarship and placed on the Director's list for every semester so far, all of which I carry with great pride. One of my favourite projects would be the game I'm making for my Individual Work Project, Cephalopanic, which is a cephalopod themed, top-down shooter with heavy RPG elements. For that, I worked on all the different facets of game development, including concept ideation, project management, game design, programming and even the art, all as a team of one, and so far, I am very fond of the result.Through my plentiful group projects, I've also been able to better build my communication and team skills, and for those that I took charge of as well as my scholarship leadership program, some leadership skills as well. Of the team projects I've taken charge of, my most successful would be my Studio Project 3 where I lead a team of 4, conducting daily scrums and working closely with teammates, to create a 2D space-time themed puzzle platformer over the course of 2 weeks, with the end product being something I found quite impressive.Specialization: Programming | C++ | Game Development | Game Design
