I am a design & innovation professional who is also a farmer, artisan, writer, poet and storyteller. My base work station is our farm in rural Uttarakhand, India (A small village ahead of Almora town).I am a post graduate in Visual Design from IDC, IIT Bombay, and have over two decades of work experience. Manakaar farm is located 15 Kms ahead of the town of Almora. We started off with natural farming practices but now experiment with all traditional and modern techniques of organic farming. The farm, our home also plays the role of a homestay & farmstay. The farm also houses a small woodworking workshop.

The primary driver of this project was to create an eco-resort driven by local resources.
